About the product

Also known as hafensa, it is a tall tree native to the island of Madagascar now also grown on Reunion Island and Maurice Island. 

The whole tree exudes a strong aroma. Since ancient times, local residents have used the branches, leaves and fruits as spices and

herbal medicines.In the 18th century, the French scientist "Baume" discovered that essential oil could be distilled from the leaves

but it was not until 1980 that the essential oil of Ravensare leaves became more widely used.

The penetrating fresh and strong forest scent of Ravensara leaf essential oil can support breathing. When taking a deep sniff of

the oil, a cool and comfortable sensation in the nose and tongue can immediately be felt and can help alleviate nasal congestion.

It can support one's natural protection from seasonal ailments and upsets. It can be used by itself or mixed with essential oils of frankincense, eucalyptus radiata, and similar oils for synergistic effects. It can also be mixed with Melaleuca essential oil and rubbed

on the chest to help with decongestion.

It is also a useful essential oils for oral hygiene. Add 1 drop to warm water and rinse the mouth to relieve discomfort, cleanse and care.

Ravensare leaf essential oil can boost weakened spirit and tiredness, and is beneficial for people recovering from illness or balancing

the stressors of busy urban life.

Usage :  body, oral, steam inhalation, bathing, vaporiser and diffuser

 

How to use : Body : Can be used alone or in combination with 1 to 2 essential oils, mix them in a ratio of 1:1 and rub on the forehead,

                                   philtrum, chest, and back can also be used to massage the spine for better sleep.

                                     Oral cavity : Add 1 drop to a cup of warm water and rinse your mouth, hold for 20 seconds and then spit it out.

                                   Steam inhalation : add 2 drops to hot water, take a deep breath and exhale for about 2 to 3 minutes. Take care

                                                                   when handling hot water.

                                     Bath : Add a few drops to water and take a bath

Blends well with : frankincense, eucalyptus, eucalyptus radiata, geranium, melaleuca leucophylla, myrrh, and benzoin for

                              synergistic effects
